Brahmousin

Brahmousin is the perfect genetic blend of the Limousin and Braham cattle breed. It combines the excellent meat quality and fast muscle growth of Limousin cattle with the heat and tolerance ability of Braham cattle. They are every cattle breeder’s fantasy because they combine the best of two awesome breeds of cattle. Only animals sired by registered Brahmousin, Limousin or Braham bulls can be recorded as Brahmousin.

History

The first Brahmousin cattle can be traced back to the ranch of Daryl Wiggins at Marble Falls, TX. He combined the best characteristics of Limousin and Braham cattle and succeeded in producing the Brahmousin.

Cattle School

The Australian Brahmousin Association Inc. offers a series of training programs for people who are interested in any or all of our cattle rearing related programs. Each program is handled by cattle rearers who have had years of experience in the cattle business. This program is open to all ages and groups of people. It is set to run for four days, with only two full days.

Brahmousin cattle have amazing and unique characteristics that make them a superior breed indeed. They are a product of two superior cattle breeds- the Limousin and Braham.
